What sounds better: discman or mp3?

Hello,

 

I was thinking about this a few days ago. My sources are: Panasonic SL-SX340 and the "opponent" Meizu 6SL + corda 2 move. + triple fi. (tomorrow will arrive my mini to mini cable and then I can begin to A/B) Which sounds better?

If you can find a vintage Discman, do that. The bigger ones with six springs and rubber blocks don't ever skip. I myself use a D-33.
