Static in Darkvoice 337

Just got my darkvoice 337! I've listened to a few tracks plugged into the amp and have to say that the sound is pretty awesome; bass is really tighter with my dt990s, no longer hearing only 'thudding' bass on certain tracks. However, there's static in the right channel in the first half hour when the amp is switched on. The static is intermittent and does not increase or decrease in volume when the volume level is changed. Now, it seems to be fine but I'm afraid it will come back. Is it possible for the amp to emit static in one channel when the tubes are warming up?

Edit: Okay it's been an hour plus but there's still some static pops occasionally, soft but clearly present. Damn might it be one of the tubes going bad?

Had this problem with my 337se, turned out to be faulty high power resistor which i replaced. It could also be a loose solder joint.

Give the amp a while to burn in then proceed from there if the problem persists.

alright thanks for your help :) I'm not hearing any static now after I've switched the left and right power tubes, and connected the amp to the headphone jack of my speakers rather than directly to the line-out jack of my mobo. I think I'm double amping but the sound quality seems to be fine so I'm just gonna go with it haha
