Looking for a Dac + Amp Combo that can drive LCD 2 and JH16 well. Looking for suggestions, thanks !

Okay guys, here the deal, my current rig is this.

HP Elitebook 6930p Laptop > m2 Tech hiFace > Oyaide RCA-RCA 75ohms > Maverick Audio D1 DAC/Amp > headphone/jh16/near 04

 

I gotten the Maverick D1 to replace my DacMagic as I would like an all in one solution.

 

My LCD 2 is going to arrive in a few weeks time.

 

But the D1 can't really drive my JH16 well, leaving me more to crave and there is some hiss even with the usage of impedance adaptor.

 

So yes, any suggestion would be grealy apperciated, thanks !

 

EDIT:

And yes, I would like a DAC with Coaxial spdif input instead of usb thanks !

What is your budget? For ~$500, I would look into the Yulong D100.

Yulong D100 has a very good DAC section, very detailled, good extension in high and low and sound very natural, the D100 has a Solid State headphone amp which can surely drive your JH16 with ease, but the headphone amp will certainly lack of power to make shine an Audèze LCD-2.

with a 1000$ budget i would go for an Yulong D100 and a Darkvoice 3322 (Tube Amp), the Darkvoice is a powerfull amp and will have enough juice to drive your LCD-2, and with tube-rolling you'll be able to neatly adjust your sound according your taste.

 

for 1000$ with a Yulong D100 + a Darkvoice 3322 you'll have a combo able to drive BOTH your Audèze LCD-2 and your JH16.

Grace m903 out after first of the year.  Asycnh DAC, all updated from the 902B which is Bob Ludwig's studio choice.  Nice looking, bombproof design.

TS, I have ordered the Grace m903 from Sg distributor Peak Fusion, hopefully to receive it within a month. Will be driving the lcd2 with it, hope it works out...not sure if it will drive the he6 though, that one is really power hungry...
