Hey guys, i would first like to say, this is a great little community here. i have read some really informative information in guiding my decisions, as i am very new in the world of high-end headphones. I currently have a very modest set-up, which consists of a pair of ATH-M50's and the Asus xonar essence stx soundcard. I am looking to purchase a pair of Senn hd 650's and a desktop amp. Will the Asus serve as a decent dac or would it be wise to purchase a dac along with the amp. I don't want to spend any more than i have to, but if an upgraded dac will be an improvement, then i am willing to go this route.
