Perhaps check out the Nuforce Icon HDP (DAC/HPAmp/PreAmp).
From a review:
"Audio inputs include B-type USB, MacBook-style 3.5mm mini optical digital/analog (adapter included), coax digital and RCA analog. The front identifies these inputs as U, D and A. Variable outputs are a 6.3mm headphone socket with included mini adaptor and one pair of very high-quality RCA pre-outs. For headfi, gain and drive are more than sufficient for even the inefficient 37-ohm HifiMan HE-5LE orthodynamics." More at: http://www.6moons.com/audioreviews/nuforce14/hdp.html
Fron another review:
"The amplifier section of NuForces’s Icon HDP offers low distortion, sonic clarity and good drive capability, and it is backed by a very good DAC. The Icon HDP suits headphones with strong bass or less than vivid midrange particularly well.

I'm using the HDP as a USB DAC and headphone amp and am really impressed with the SQ and enjoying it very much. I really like the combination of the HDP plus the HD650's and think there is very good synergy with that combination. I feel that I've gotten really great value for my money. And the SQ has just been getting better and better with more use time on these components and it's pretty fantastic now at this point (about 2 months in).
