l-507u vs. dac-19/c-2

the other day i bought a full size (22 kg, lol) headphone amp, the l-507u.

well i didn't buy the headphone amp, i only got it as a giveaway. wink.gif

so now compairing against my dac-19/c-2 combo, just out of curiousity. cannot say a lot yet, but the lux's headphone amp sounds pretty good to my ears and not that much different. (both amps are fed from a udac2. digital out goes to dac-19, analog goes to l-507u)

That's a nice giveaway. I have a 505u and it's HP section is superb. I'd be very suprised if many midrange HP amps were its equal. And it's not too shabby with speakers either.
