Here's my latest purchase.

* looks like you need to copy and paste the links for them to work

I look forward to what you think of them! I was going to buy a pair a little while ago but decided against it because there is no feedback on them.

Awesome. How do they sound?

WHOA!!, somebody finally took the plunge, I'm VERY interested in how they sound...hook us up ...lol...hook-clips on 'phones...lol

I'll probably never buy them, but there is something intrigueing about a pair of $200, fine cherry wood clip-ons...

I'd be very interested in how these work out after a couple of months (or three). My EM7 are not looking too great after one year of not-so-frequent use. I'd hate to see how damaged laquer looks, let alone anodised aluminium after such use. I've not intentionally abused them... I've always carried the case around. It's just that normal handling results in scratches. Let us know how you get along with them for normal portable use.

There's hopefully a EM7 vs EW9 comparison as soon as my EM7 have found their way to the Cayman Islands...

I keep seeing them pop up on Y!J for about $160, but haven't yet taken the plunge...still holding out for a pair of ATH-W11JPN, but none has shown up for months.

I got mine too. Only had a few minutes to listen to them, they sounded really nice. They certainly look great

Could someone post some on-ear pics, please? I'm really curious to see how they look while being worn. I covet those phones

It's something like this.

(Excuse me looking all worn out...just got back from work.)

I didn't expect too much for clip-ons, but so far I 'm quite happy with this one. Right now I'm hooking it up to pc+usb audio through supermini, it gives enough bass and highs. Mid sounds a little weak. It may improve after burn-in, but considering the size and weak clamping force it's already surprising to me.

I don't have much experience with clip-ons so there may be better ones (such as KSC35), but I'm happy with both sound and look.

Oh wow, they are much smaller then I thought!

How does the sound compare to your ER-4 or Sr-225? I like there wood look but they seem to be the ex same thing as the 150 dollar metal ones .

but wood look better!

I am not sure if there is any difference in sound quality between the wood and the metal versions. I think buying the wood might be the same as getting the wood kit for your car, it just looks nicer.

Those look great! I think they'd look best with a really short hair-cut, maybe it's just me. ...anyway, thanks for the pics. If it gives enough bass now, just imagine later...MAYBE A CLIP-ON WITH BASS!!
