Actually, they sound more similar than I was expecting.  

 

These, at least right now, to me, sound like UE 900s that have the fun knob turned up a bit.  

 

But the build quality is much better from what I can see, and there's no waiting for a hole to get plugged up with ear wax. Just my $0.02, YMMV, etc, etc...

those should be a good choice, if you don't have much requirement, a sensa player will do just fine, i used to carry around my ibasso D10 with aftermarket opamps, but i find that on the move, there is too little difference to justify carrying around a brick, especially considering the large price difference.

After a few hours of steady listening, I can say for certain that I like these better than my UE 900s.

 

The mids are a bit more forward, but not really in your face.  The bass has more ooomph, but it's not flabby, still taut and fast. The treble may be slightly recessed compared to the UE 900s, but not enough to detract from imaging or presence.   I can only imagine that a serious treble head would be the only one to complain.

guys. help!!!.. lost my modded sony hybrids for my Westone 4rs. Are these the same Shure Olives that will fit the 4r??

Yes, those are the shure olives. They will fit the 4R but does require some effort to remove them from the nozzle.

I think that I have discovered one problem with these IEMs, after many hours of listening, my pinnae get a little sore where the 4Rs make contact with them...

I contacted them about the star tips a few days ago.  Apparently they are having issues with the packaging and will be on sale in the upcoming weeks, however you can call them up and place an order for the star tips if you don't mind receiving them in a plastic bag.  They said it was like $15-16 for a set of 5.

Well, just because it has four drivers doesn't mean it's a four-way design. Two drivers could have served the same purpose and made it four drivers with a three-way design.
