Found this when I searching Matrix's DAC, "Rivals DAC-1" from "Taobao" (China's ebay)

That's an interesting question! Anybody meanwhile?

The device is still alive in the Bay http://cgi.ebay.de/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=230622562812&ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT or here http://www.3pdt.com/products/rivals-dac-1, maybe elsewhere, too.

It resembles the Benchmark's looks. Interior is a different story, though.

 

Has anybody listened to it yet? Or touched it physically? Or does anybody know about anyone who knows anything about it?
