So if I turn off 3G internet connection then I won't be fee'd an additional internet fee?

 

I thot the Nokia 5800 was one of those phones that, when you bought it, the plan was that you also had to buy it with the additional internet fee every month (Even if you didn't use the internet).

 

Does it depend on my provider?

Ok i see now what you mean. you are getting a 5800 thats bound to a network and the plan says you have to buy a firm price for the internet connection every month right? I think the solution here is that you buy a used unlocked one as azncookiecutter says and take a different plan where you dont have to pay a monthly fee but rather for what you use and then set it up so that you only use wi-fi as the internet connection.

Looks like I'm getting the Nokia 5800 unlocked then. :D

I managed to find a barely used one for $140. 

 

All I have to do is make sure that I can find a plan with T Mobile where I don't have those monthly internet fees and make sure that only the WI-FI connection is enabled.

Just to add to the recommendations - I have a MyTouch 3G Slide and I love it! It plays FLAC and sounds great IMHO.
