Denial can be bliss...but so can a portable system that fits in the palm of your hand that can give the big equipment a run for it's money. 

 

Now more possible than ever with the available portable balanced DACs and amps.

Totally agree with that statement, I,m relatively new to portable audio, but have a class A home set up and have had for many years.

But my combination of Imod + Corda Stepdance set on low gain setting + Denon AH-D5000 does give me complete portable audio satisfaction.

This was not possible at all until the introduction of balanced amps as you rightly stated.

well it would be sensible that they did since it is their most acclaimed player and the oldest as well, so they should actually be much more careful with it
