Need a quick fix for my IEM cable...

I'm having some issues with my Shure E2C cable, and I'd love it if someone could help me out with a way to handle them. It's not covered by warranty, and Shure's flat rate for repairs is damn near the price of a new pair, so I'd rather go the DIY route.

Here's a video detailing the problems: http://s6.photobucket.com/albums/y206/Cloud_VS_Auron/?action=view¤t=Movieon2010-12-10at0045.mp4

I'd really appreciate any input.

Look into some aftermarket cables, they offer direct replacements to great upgrades. I just got a cheap 30$ cable for My Ulatmite ears and they improved the bass and response.

I'm going to be doing the same thing to my westone UM1's soon, the right channel is cutting in and out frown.gif

Well, the problem there is that the cable isn't removable. I can't just buy a new one, disconnect the current one, and replace it; it's attached to the IEMs.
