SR71-B vs beyerdynamic a1

Hi, I have an opportunity to get the beyerdynamic a1 at the price of $630 or the SR71-B at MSRP.

I have a pair of dt770/80 and dt880/32. Acoustic, ballads, piano, pop and rock seem to be the most common categories I listen to.

 

Which would be the better choice? Can the SR71-B drive the more difficult to drive headphones?
