I'm a pretty big Tron fan and was excited to see these.  They are made by Monster so I imagine they probably share components with the Beats by Dre line, but also have some sort of built-in mic for gamers and whatnot.  I don't plan on buying a pair, but I thought you guys might be interested.

They look cool...too bad they'll sound terrible :(

They look like something out of Star Trek, a bit over the top but I guess kids like it. The cups look very similar to the Beats Studio, just with different earpads and outer shell.

I wouldn't be surprised if they use the same drivers. After all, if they spend money on developing new drivers there would be less money left for marketing!

I really like the look of these. And who knows, maybe Monster will surprise us like they did with the turbines.

I did finally hear the ~$150 version of the Beats... Man they were bad! I doubt these will sound like more than $75.

That built-in mic looks a bit clumsy.. But perhaps Monster will surprise us with the sound quality. The headphones look pretty cool too.
