So I hit 21 this year on the 4th of July (I know, I'm just cool like that) now I've never much of a drinker but have drank before 21 and plenty now that I'm of legal age. Here's the kicker... I can't get drunk, I mean I assume something does change but it's too subtle for me to notice. The past few times I have drank, I drank 20+ beers + liquor of many sorts and tequila all in the same night and still was sober enough to talk straight and pass songs on guitar hero on expert with no issue and drive and do all the normal things a sober person can. I'm not bragging I just wanted to know if there is someone people here with that sort of drinking "stamina"?

Size and biology will affect the amount of alcohol you can take before feeling its effects.
Your drinking at is 21? Where do you live? We can drink with parental permission at any time, with a legal age of 18 where we are able to purchase for ourselves.

I gave up serious recreational drinking years ago and now I'm so out of practice I'm wrecked on half a pint.
Question to the OP, how tall are you / how much do you weigh? That goes some way to explain a tolerance to alcohol, as well as frequency of inbibing. I work with a guy who's about 17 stone and he drinks like a fish (he also eats like a horse).

Wow that is VERY dangerous for you and others ! You feel like sober but your are obviously not, you just get used to get drunk, you still got alcohol in blood that alter perception and behavior.
Many accidents happen because drunk people feel they can drive normaly.

Kinda reminds me of Takashi from Revenge of the Nerds during the tricycle race...
The first thing you lose when you drink is judgement.
Taxis are relatively cheap compared to a DUI.

This.
It doesn't matter how you feel...your perception of drunkness is NOT in anyway a reflection of your BAC%. At your given weight, the amount of alcohol you drink will give you the same BAC% regardless of how it makes you feel. I don't drink much so a few beers will make me feel intoxicated though at my weight I would not be over the legal limit. You one the other hand obviously drink too much if 20+ drinks don't make you feel drunk but you are however WAY over the legal limit. Continue this stupid behavior of driving drunk and it will catch up to you. My fiancee's brother just got out of prison after serving 4+ years (IMO should have been much longer) for driving stupid...errr...I mean drunk and crashing and killing his passenger. Keep it up and you'll trade your headphones in for some soap on the rope.

I'm 5'6 ft tall and 120 lbs. I've been pulled over before and did the breathalyzer test but the cop didn't believe it and made me say the alphabet backwards and stand on one foot and all that good stuff and passed it with flying colors even though the breathalyzer said I was way beyond the legal BAC. Granted I have gotten drunk before and in those instances I do not drive but if I do feel fine and people sober tell me I look like I haven't even drank one it's usually cause I don't feel it.
Yes I do eat a lot also I have a huge metabolism so I'm constantly eating and now more than ever since I'm going to the Army and exercising.

You should have been arrested and charged. The cop should be suspended. Glad that my family and I don't live in your neck of the woods.
Your judgement is impaired when drinking and you shouldn't be driving. Period. Your judgement is also impaired while sober (assuming that you were sober when you wrote the nonsense quoted below).
Time to grow up...

Hmm I guess it's the same reaction whenever I or someone else bring up this conversation. Totally understandable...
Time to grow up? According to who?

According to anyone who has been in (including myself) or have had a loved one or friend maimed or killed in a car wreck involving a drunk driver. You have a drinking problem. I suggest that you seek treatment before you kill someone.
