This little thingy plugs into your iPhone LOD dock and it does change the quality of sound:
The bass is much deeper and more defined
The mids and highs are crisper and clearer
There is SOME surround sound effect, but not too much
Sound volume is definitely amplified - it does choke my ES7's with bass at full volume.
The iPhone app is pretty much useless. It does let you tweak some settings, but one could live without it.
So far you can only buy it for $80 plus tax. If it were $20, it would be a keeper for sure. I guess they want you to pay for research.
It kind of reminds me of the sound I get from my mini^3, but we all know that's a superior device and it costs around 120 custom built. So far I haven't figured out how to make it (mini^3) portable with my iPhone (taping it to it doesn't sound like such a great idea).
Any ideas, suggestions? I still have 14 days to return the SRS device.
Thanks.
