Buying RE-0 ???

Folks- Looks like RE-0 can be bought only from head-direct.com? Any experience buying from head-direct.com?

 

And head-direct.com does not *seem* to be a well made website.. Is that any indication of the products that they make too? :-)

 

I also see Head-Direct RE0 and HiFiman RE-ZERO.. What is the difference?

 

And who makes RE0 and where?

I think head-direct and hifiman are the same company. As far as I know everyone who purchased RE0 or any hifiman product discussed here has purchased it at head-direct.com, they are based in China.

I bought mine on Amazon. Quick shipping but I just sent them in for warranty replacement (right side stopped working frown.gif)

RE-ZERO is supposed to be easier to drive (other threads talk of its lower impedance) but it has a balanced plug and needs an adapter which can be cumbersome to some.

re-zero is very nice IEM and worth its money.proceed with confidence

 

i bought from hifiman 3 of their IEM's (ZERO/252/262) in less than 3 months and i am waiting for them to release their next one whenever this happens dt880smile.png

HiFiMan is in China, but if you buy from their website and you're in the US, they ship from NY. (Queens?)

No problems with Head-Direct.

Ive bought RE0s & RE-ZEROs from them.

Ive had no trouble with either.

ZEROs drive easier and have more forward smooth mids.

RE0s highs extend further than the ZEROs

I prefer the ZEROs because i love my mids.
