Alternatives to the MINIMAX CD PLAYER

A friend of mine suggested this cd player because it substituted his 9.000 euro cd player (it's an high end cd player).

 

He preferred the minimax cd player.

 

Now maybe there are other cd player better also than this, only for classic cd player needs, no headphones.

 

some suggestions?

The MiniMax is indeed a sweet CD Player, but I felt it needed a "bright" sounding Power Cable to liven things up a bit, so something like the Cardas Twinlink is a must.
