The sound is Dry typical (or Lifeless) to my ears, so it is different than the sound of other Creative players, some people will like this sound , some will hate it, just try it youself if you have a chance before buy it

doesnt sounds like the kind of sound i'll like...i will try if i have chance at retail store but i think they always play tunes that sound best on that device for demo.
