Drew,

Do you have raw stock of this cable (sans IEM connectors) available for hardwiring to full-sized headphones?

@debitsohn - have you heard the differences personally? I'm just curious since you seem to have adequate gear to warrant hearing differences in e cable. smily_headphones1.gif

i think ive stayed away from silver & copper wires because i heard cables made from them arent very good as compared to silver.  for the most part, if i do get a headphoen cable made, i try to get silver.  for interconnects and such i get copper cuz im not rich :)

b4 this all becomes an argument about whether or not cables work.. lets just not go there. it works for some and doesnt for others.. ppl will believe what they want to whether its for or against cables.

I am looking forward to see your review on IEM cables!

Depending on the length of this cable I might not be so opposed to re-cabling a pair of headphones with these.  This is the first time I've seen a cable manufacturer talk about the important properties of a cable on which everybody can agree: flexibility, durability and signal purity.

Someone already asked but your answer was blank so I will ask again. Do you do these for Triple.fi10's

Thank you.

Also, could you share your cable geometry and silver purity? The solder used and method used for construction? I think all those matter too.

Cardas Silver Solder is used for all terminations. Geometry can be found in the description. At some point I will post a Cadd Drawing on our website.

Bulk Silver Dragon IEM wire is available so no need to butcher a cable to hardwire to a headphone.

Yes it will work with the Westone UM3XRC. Yes we will have 80" for folks that want to use their phones on a home rig. It has been a common request for us to do a longer length. I dont know what a Plus Aurora is?

I did not state the ground was not important. But when it comes to the sound signature of the cable the positive leg makes a much greater impact on the sound quality than the ground leg. In my experience, with thousands of headphone cables in the field, I have learned what it takes to create a product that not only sounds good but also stands up to the the stress of a portable environment. Most of the new IEM cables you see in the market place have not been around very long and making a statement that they are all silver and that they have not failed does not say much. To truly know if a cable is going to fail or not, based on it's materials used, requires several years under there belt in large quantities to know for sure. I'm not saying any of them will fail, but as a business I must also look at producing a cable that that wont be sent back 6 months from now for flex failure. I have to stand behind the product not only for it's sound quality but also build quality. And as always I respect all of the opinions stated.

The copper was used on the ground for added strength and durability to protect from flex failure.

Isn't it a stranded 26AWG silver plated copper for ground?

I would like to pre-order the cable in 64' with the Oyaide right angle 1/8 mini. Is that the same as a 3.5 mini?

Thanks
