I just realized that my amp had a computer AC adapter resting adjacent to it and part of the cable was even on the amplifier. It took me about 10 minutes to figure out why the amp was humming so bad, but soon as I move the cable away, the hum disappeared. I'm assuming this is a grounding-type hum. My question is, is it dangerous to the health of the amp that I left the AC adapter cable next to the amp for at least an hour causing this hum?
