I am starting to have a jack failure on my re2s. I don't think it would be a good idea to recable the whole thing as the earpieces don't seem removable. What do you guys recommend as far as recabling the jack. I want to do a good job so that it will never wear out. I have done a few recables in the pas but ive never been happy with the jacks. They always seem to have something that ends up getting loose or moves around inside/ shorts.
Any advice on a good quality jack that is cheap and any tips to make the repair permanent.
