Why?
I've had nothing but problems with mine from the get go.
Sometimes I'll just get an extremely loud hissing noise that goes on until I unplug the unit and plug it back in.
Other times, when a song is supposed to be playing in the right ear, it will be playing in the left ear. This started happening rarely, but now happens about every other song.
And to top it off, the unit is just way too overly bright. It's quite ridiculous.
Perhaps I got a defective unit. But I don't know, nor do I care. I will not be keeping this unit. Plan on returning it to Audio Advice and getting the Music Fidelity V-DAC instead, depsite it being more expensive.
