I'm pretty new to hifi audio, but have been very happy with my M50 w/Fiio E7, thanks to the great reviews on this site. I quickly sold my B&O A8's (the sound seemed too colored and had no bass) and picked up the Brainwavez M3. While I really like the bass and mids, compared to the M50, and even my V Jays, the highs sound more rolled off and limited in range.
I feel like an IEM with a simliar sound signature but more presence, larger sound stage would be the ideal for me. I will typically use it for films, jazz, classical, and acoustic music. I would like to stay around $150~.
