Clarification on DA-11 case - two designs, purely cosmetic differences? Which is the newer model?

Hi,

 

I've decided to buy the DA-11, and was just doing a search for the best price new in the UK and noticed the front panel designs were different between shops...

 

I only assume the photo shown on his website is the latest design? Seems there's some products with just the word 'Lavry' which others have the full 'Lavry Engineering' in a different style.

Can someone confirm it's literary the design/material that's different and not insides? Is the bottom version really the new logo?!

If they are the same beast, I think I'll grab the top version which looks much nicer.

90% sure the internals are the same, im sure Dan can chime in soon enough. IMO i like the cosmetics of the newer version better, the earlier version looks more like it belongs in the professional/studio environment.

the gold lettering is the newer version...i kinda prefer the new look but sadly mine is the old one redface.gif
