I've been listening to it on my HD800.  I have to say and really hate to say this.  It's a GREAT match!  I hate to say it cause everyone reviewer of the HD800 said this and the cost of this is almost as much as the HD800.  I really didn't want to buy it cause it cost a lot, but the PS Audio GCHA sounded like crap with the HD800.  

This amp is actually really pretty good paired with Beyer DT990/600 Ohms.  It's a well balanced amp and I think it is worth the high price.  

I got a Cyber Monday deal on it so I didn't pay retail, but it is still not cheap.

This amp is impressing me more and more. It's very open, neutral and dynamic. Sounds great with just about every headphone I own. Makes my D7000 sound much wider. I am very happy with the purchase. You guys really need to give it a listen or just buy one like it did. Ou will NOT be disappointed.
