While I am kind of new around here I have had the pleasure of meeting Jude at RMAF this year.

 

In the market for my first good set of cans and an amp, still not sure what direction I am going to go.

 

I might be able to bring a really nice battery powered USB=>I2S=>Dac set up that a friend has been working on if there is interest.

I am sort of new here (check my date joined) and I wanted to know if I were to attend a meet is it expected of me to bring something for others to listen too? I have a pair of Westone 3s that I had to "fix" the wire around the ear. I might be getting a new Headstage Arrow amp within the time the meeting is. But besides that I got nothing, but am interested in hearing anything there is to offer there.

I would still like to come, if the weather cooperates.

 

I don't have anything to bring to the meet at this time but I hope to learn and test out more headphones.

Just saw this thread.

 

I'm in if it's the 15th or after, and can provide a ride for one Ann Arbor townie (edit: person I can pick up in Ann Arbor: townie, student, or just passing through). (PM me if you're interested; I'll edit this post when the seat's claimed.)

 

Will probably bring my amps (Elekit TU-882AS desktop and Leckerton UHA-6S portable), and can bring anything else listed in my profile; ask if there's something you want to try.

Yeah I'm excited about this.  So let's finalize this at someone's place for Janurary 15th!  I'm fairly new into the hardware game with cans but looking forward to hearing some other stuff.

 

I'm about to order the Denon AH-D7000s and I can bring them when I get them along with two entry'ish level Sennheiser and Grado cans with an Audio-GD FUN amp/dac.

 

I'm in Wayne county so Ann Arbor works great for me.

The 15th won't work for me hosting it at the office, as I won't even be a week out of CES, and definitely not caught up by then.  That said, don't let me stop anyone else from hosting it, especially if late in the month doesn't work best for most of you.  If it's mid-month, I'll do my best to attend--I just can't host it that early.

unfortunately I don't think anyone else has the capacity to host it.  that's why everyone's watching your posts with baited breathbiggrin.gif.  I am a little worried about the amount of people interested though.  Do you have a max capacity set in mind if it is held at your workplace?
