A lot of Therion's music sounds like it was influenced by ABBA, so this cover fits right into their repertoire.

Turisas is one band that consistently blows my mind, even if they only seem to play in 6/8. I guess it's the most epic time signature.

If I ever get to see Haggard play live, I will be extremely happy.

Hehe, no thanks, too old school fantasy/ancestry music for me, but interesting nonetheless =)

give Ayreon a try. they are more spacey and progressive than most of the other recommendations but they have some great stuff.

I wanted to like Ayreon, I've never really heard a band with so many "different" songs. It was like I was listening to different styles (in each song), but I just couldnt get into the lyrics in any, and when they switch things up it just didn't "flow" the way I wanted. "The Human Equation" is definitely an interesting concept for an album, but from all the songs I listened to (of the other albums as well), it just didn't do it for me; vocals were a little strange at times... thanks a lot though!
