Headphone Dimension Classification

Thread Starter

Through the countless searches of thread after thread in these forums for the most comfortable headphone I haven't found a straightforward answer. I realize, however, that comfort really depends on three factors: Materials used, clamping force and finally earcup dimensions. While the first two are easy to determine, not a single headphone manufacturer seems to include earcup dimensions on their product pages. I am looking for earcups that are larger than 7cm in height, 4cm in with and 2cm in depth. Any suggestions as to comfortable headphones that fit these dimensions?

If anyone could point me in the direction of any place to find earcup dimensions that would be awesome.

Probably should post in the full size headphones forum. But I'd guess the DT150 may meet your specifications. I don't own it.
