Any quality loss going from RCA to 1/4 inch TRS?

Title says it all. In my case it would be going from a firewire interface (RCA outs) to preamp (1/4 inch ins) to headphones. And the question again is would there be any quality loss going from RCA to 1/4 inch TRS or TS in my case?

I don't believe so. I use RCA to 1/4" TS cables with my amp and processor with no worries. I'm not a believer in fancy expensive cables...these are just low voltage signals that don't care about which type of connectors get them to their destination. IMO.
