Panasonic RP HJE900 vs Brainwavz M3
Dec 15, 2010 at 3:32 PM Post #4 of 14
I've listened to both.
The panasonics are absolutely worth the extra money.
IMO the brainwavz m3 have a trouble with clarity and definition.
The only thing wrong with the pannys is the horrible isolation as compared to most iems.

Maybe because the vast majority of people went for other phones.
And they ran out of cubic zirconia to make them :) It was a limited production in the beginning. Only made a specific amount.

More like they were originally targeted for Japan, they are still sold just not in U.S.

...I thought cubic zirconia became extremely scarce because of the great jewelry wars of 1998...

it's an isometric lab synthesized material. They don't run out of it.
Low cost as well + durable.

I snipped the stems of my meleec m9 balanced tips and now I have around 90% isolation, I was in the bus today and subway and I couldn't heard a thing outside

Well evidently tip-dependent :)
Talking about the stock tips.
If you get the acs custom-tip then every iem has good isolation.
