Would anybody here be able to repair a shorted Phiaton MS400 cable?

Hi! I bought a pair of Phiaton MS400s back in September, and somehow part of the cable must have disconnected/shorted right near the plug. When I put the headphones on, no music comes out of the left headphone. However, if I move the cable into the correct position, it will work, but if it moves even a tiny bit, it will mess up again. The cable itself is fairly thin, if that matters.

I would really appreciate it if somebody from this forum who is skilled in soldering/cable repair could fix them for me.

Thank you in advance for any help!

I mean I'm sure someone could... if you've got a soldering iron I would just buy a cheap plug and do it yourself though.  Where are you located geographically if you don't mind my asking?  If you bought them new they should still be under warranty if you can't do it yourself?

I'm in Boston right now. I believe I'm still under warranty, but for some reason Phiaton has been terrible, customer service wise. I have e-mailed them more than once, I sent a message to the Phiaton employee who frequents this forum, and I have even sent them a Facebook message, but have yet to receive a reply.

I have no skill or past experience with soldering or things of that sort so I would really rather not try it myself! Haha. I mentioned the fact that my headphones were broke on another forum and they recommended I go here for assistance.
