I found this absolutely staggering article about SQ comparisons of the three phones. The article is currently in Russian

The web will also publish English version pretty soon. I will update once the article in English is available.

 

For now you can use google translate.

 

They did RMAA testing with and without the loads. One of the biggest conclusions of the article is that numbers do not translate to SQ perception.

 

If you compare RMAA numbers with the numbers on gsmarena , you will see quite a big difference. It is all soo confusing...

The author uses HM-801 + UE11pro. Could we expect another result? ;)

The audiochip used in N8 quite similar to previous generation of S60V5 (5800, N97, X6, etc).

maybe the chip is the same, but the sound quality differs.
