Best portable Cd Player?

I have the Sharp DR-7 Minidisc Recorder and go with the headphone output and the Ety 4 P. The sound is good. But i want have the maximum quality with a protable thing without a special headphone amplier.

Sounds the Slim550 or the Sony DJE2000 better than theSharp DR-7? Or is it better for me to hld the DR-7? Ore is there another portabel CD/MD/HD Player that have a better sound quality.

Hi...

The EJ2000 to me (listening to the Euro-crippled version) is clearer than the iRiver products, which sound mushy by comparison
