Hey there
Xmas is near and i want to upgrade my dac/amp.
Current Setup:
Creative X-Fi Platinum (not modded)
B-Tech 928 (modded, initial OpAMP)
Headphiled Grado SR-225 with flats
I am willing to spend 300$, if the differences doesn't justify the purchase, 500$ max.
Right now, i am really into the E7/E9 combo, mainly because it looks so gorgeous.
Second place goes to the Beresford Caiman and third to the Matrix M-Stage (Edit: mixed it up: should be the Audinst HUD-MX1)
To me, the synergy matters the most, however i really do care about the look.
Maybe an amp like the Schiit Asgard or a dac like v-dac will serve my purpose better than a dac/amp combo, I really don’t know.
To bring it to the point, how would you upgrade my setup?
FYI: I live in Switzerland
