"Time" by Wintersun: Finished for mixing Dec 2010!

Hey Guys,

 

don't know if many of you know this band, but their original CD was an absolute masterpiece.

 

They have been struggling to release their second CD for a long time because apparently the software they are using to record this music is only 32bit and they are already using 3 gigs without any plug-ins... apparently the songs are exceedingly complex.

 

 

If it turns out anything like the last CD it will be epic, and worth the 6 year wait.

 

So, listen to the old CD to prepare for the new one!!!

Have you actually read what's on the website? He says that he hopes to be able to finish the super-duper-complex-hundereds-of-layers-of-synths by christmas, after that he hopes to start mixing the album by the end of december. It will be next year before he releases the album, not Christmas 2010. Then of course who knows if he can actually finish those synths in time.....

hrm looks like I got carried away in my excitement... but it is not very clear on a second read when they actually plan to release this CD.Shoot... oh well.
