HI All,
I have a Little dot 3 and a Denon avr-4800 Receiver and can't seem to figure out how to hook up the amp to it. What outputs should I use?
Thanks
George

I think you're trying to feed your Little Dot (an amp) from another amp (the AVR) which I doubt will give you the best possible sound in the end. You should choose a better source, one that is either directly fed to the Little Dot, such as a decent CD player, or a DAC (which can also be used from your PC to play ripped CDs and the like). If you insist on feeding an amp from another amp, then you should have some stereo (2 channel) output on your AVR and that would feed into the input of the Little Dot.
I believe that should be a high enough model to have pre-amp outputs that have just passed through the DAC and are still a low level signal. These are probably what you want to pass into your headphone amplifier. On my Onkyo I believe they are labeled pre-outs, and are your standard RCA connections. I should warn you though that I have only used these to pass into a dedicated speaker amp (Emotiva XPA-5) and really am not sure whether they are an appropriate level to pass to a headphone amp.
