Best MP3 Player and NOTHING MORE

Hey guys,

I've been living life, and have begun to find out that my iPhone 3GS is not the best item to use to listen to music; it's simply too big and heavy for just listening to music.

What I'm looking for, and as many other people are probably too:

-long battery life

-decent amount of storage (>2gb)

-radio

-attractive UI

-portable

-decent EQ and SQ

-cheap (as in high value)

-Min

the EQ isnt the best, but the Sansa Fuze fits that description pretty well.

Sansa Fuze or Clip.

Review of the clip+.

Gotta be the the clip+.  Simple player, cheap, good sq and micro-sd expandable to solve storage woes.  Also, though I've never used it myself, you might look into the hippo gumstick.  A little more expensive, but it has an amp inside the thing which is pretty cool.  According to this review, the ui is good.

The "attractive ui" aspect pretty much rules out every other option.  Unfortunately, most players with decent sq also have a horrible touch screen interface.

whats your price range like?

Cheap would be under $100, and under $60 would be optimal.

SanDisk's Sansa Clip+ seems to be a great fit.  Perfectly fits the list!

the clip+ doesn't have what i call a attractive UI.. functional, usable yes. Attractive? No.

It fits every other aspect though, the EQ is excellent if you rockbox it.

Yes.  It comes a lot closer than most current generation players though, just for not doing anything weird.

It certainly does its job well enough. However scrolling through hundreds of songs on a screen that small is a PITA.

When Rockboxed SanDisk's Sansa Clip+ is great peace of music player, but then small screen is big  problem for same people basshead.gif but when you can use it with Sansa firmware then screen is OK

I'm using the Sansa firmware. I listen by albums, so not that big of an issue, but if i try to search by tracks, it quickly becomes irritating.
