You need to make your own, because nobody else has the same ears as you do.
Yeah it's trial and error to make an EQ preset that is favourable to your ear holes.
Yes, but my knowledges in this are ZERO...
I'm lost with the gains, Qs, Dbs...
And I prefer to test eqs that people already do ... :D
You could check out the Rockbox manual which will teach you how to use the EQ, and you will be able to make EQs for each of your phones'
Agree with what's already been said. EQing to make your music sound how you like it is a personal thing, there is no real right and wrong if you like it.
Just read the manual so you get the basic and tinker away until your happy.
I have Rockbox on Fuze and it should be the same to get to the 5-band equalizer: pull up Rockbox main menu, Settings, Sound Settings, Equalizer, Enable EQ (Yes), then scroll down one to Graphical Equalizer. There are 5 bands of EQ, with the default settings at all 0 at 60 (deep bass), 200 (high bass), 800 (mid), 4000 (high mids), and 12000 (high trebles) Hz. Use the down click to go to each of the 5 bands and then the normal "change it" button on the clip to increase/decrease the value for each band. Do this while a song is playing the you know so you can tune the bands up or down to what you want/like.
Or back on the Sound Settings menu, you can just boost/cut the Bass & Treble settings for ultra-simple changes.
You can also use the bass/treb modifiers in addition to the EQ, and the Bass boost you can get out of the clip+ with the bass modifier(not the EQ) is pretty substantial.

And then, when you're comfortable with all that, you can change the frequency number for each band to truly make it your personal setup, to best match your ears and gear.
