Sound card?

Hey.

 

I just got Reason and I'd like to create a little home studio. I'm using a laptop so the integrated sound card isn't too great... I'd like to upgrade my gear but I have absolutely no knowledge in this field.

 

I'm looking for a good device allowing me to :

- plug my 2 Mackie MR5

- plug some MIDI controllers (for Reason, Traktor, ...)

- allowing me to pre listen on my headphones while using Traktor

- record some DJ set out of my real turntables

- priced around $100-150

 

How about the NI Audio kontrol 1?

I have always had good luck with M-Audio's offerings.

If you have a Firewire port you might consider the M-Audio Firewire AP.
