Yes. I had a one inch block in my mouth.

After looking at the frequency graph sent to me by UM and more listening I think the issue is that the bass is in fact there, it's just that the majority of the music I listen to doesn't use those low ends. The graph is practically flat until 1khz so I'm thinking that's why. THe bass response is neutral. So far I am very impressed with UM's build quality and service.
