That's something we usually do.
Having owned the 160Ds i have no complaints. It never ran out of power with the headphones i've tried.
I found the Dacmini bass on the light side though. I had to make some Tweaks on the Eq to bring out the bass.

Looks like I am indeed going to get the Dacmini thanks to a member on this forum from Centrance telling me about the coupon code. Now it's a $250 difference between the 2 and a great price for the Dacmini at under $650 shipped. Cheers!
I completely changed my mind and now I'm going to mix the 2 and see what happens. By that I mean I'm going to get a Dacport LX with reserve series cable and the Burson Soloist, good idea?
It looks a bit upside down to me. Personally I'd say look to invest more in your source, less in the amp.
I've seen even in reviews the Burson being coupled with the Music Streamer or Dacport/LX. I don't want to spend too much money anyway, I already ordered the LX with the reserve cables, I'll be ordering a Burson in the next few weeks.
I've read many reviews and it seems with the Soloist it's like "Where's the bass?" so I'm going to get the HA-160 instead.
