REVIEW: 20 Headphones Compared - Page 23

Very exciting and can't wait to see these updates!!

I'm a bit (tiny bit) surprised that Audio Technica seems rare in your list, also with all these new headphones in line I guess 702 is gonna get kicked out of the top 30 :P

EDIT:

It will include the headphones mentioned here but also compare and contrast

The HE90 (Orpheus)

The SR Omega

SR-007 MK1

SR-007 MK2

SR-009 (which I presently don't own but hopefully will by that time)

SR-507

RS1

RS2

R10 (bass light)

DT660 (which is a really good less expensive headphone for some purposes)

T5P (which I've spent ample time with though I do not own)

Westone ES5 (yet to own)

Westone 4

Westone UM3X

Shure SE535

JH13 (yet to own)

JH16

Edition 10 (yet to own)

HE500 (yet to own)

LCD2 rev. 2 (yet to own)

I'm considering adding an HP2 and/or PS1000 into the mix.  Would like to try Qualias someday as well.

My appreciation for the K701/702 has grown over time though it probably will still be pushed back:)  We'll see...

Right now I feel as though I may put the HD800 a little bit closer to the top than I had placed it before

Guys,

Needing some help in picking out some new headphones to replace my Grado SR80 which are very uncomfortable. I'm looking to spend $200, I listen to classical/gospel only and will use them through my ModWright Sony 5400ES CD player. I hear the Shure 850 are hard to beat at their price point!

Thanks,

Wiggy

AKG K271 MKII - on sale at Amazon yesterday for about $135.  Very neutral sounding, should be good for the kind of music you like.

I'm in the market for headphones. I play games like Counter-Strike and Call of Duty, but I want these headphones to be aimed more towards my music listening. I listen mainly to Hardcore/Post-Hardcore/Rock. I've previously owned "professional gaming headsets" from SteelSeries, but I want my music to sound better.  My budget is within $150, and I'm open to any and all suggestions. Thanks!

With so many headphones push out in to the market over the last 2 years. I'm eager to see an update on this article!

So DT660? will make it to the list this round? :)

Again thanks David for your efforts and kindness to share.
