Does anyone have any experience with one of these? Using search function didn't turn up anything.

Here is the distibutor website:  http://www.dared.us/products_i30.php

Does anyone think this amp would be a good match for the LCD-2 or T1?

I found a website review of the Dared i30, not as glowing of a reference as might have hoped; the site is in Greek - and can be translated page by page using Google Translate. The review is located at http://www.avmentor.gr/reviews/dared_i30_1.htm - written by Dimitris Stamakos at avmentor.gr : also there is a distributor website at - http://www.daredtube.com - (try - translate.google.com - type in website address, tell google translate fr. greek to english) Seems there have not been reviews on post 2009/10 models? The photos in the review show the use of a plastic board for electrical circuits, rather than direct wiring, moderate toroidal transformer in the middle hump, dac built-in, no remote, and author provides electrical tests on the unit. Cheers! RHC505

Hi There if you are still looking for a TUBE AMP...... There are many manufactures to choose from.

Prima Luna, check out their line up. Made in China of course!

I have one, sounds AMAZING, I also have a Tube Dac from.....Grant Fidelity....in Calgary, Alberta.

You can plug into the DAC with headphones for a better sound than through the headphone jack of your MP3 players or iPod devices. I send mine to the DAC using the USB cable to USB input, the apple knows exactly what you're doing.

Good Luck in your search.....

I've got the TubeDAC-11 too.. an absolutely fantastic, little tube buffer+SS amp rolled into one.. I've got an O2 amp on the way to chain with the tube buffered output so I can get the 'tube flavot' with low impedance cans.. I've been addicted to listening to my higher impedance (300 ohm) HD580 through the tube out recently..

I've been meaning to review this amp but have been enjoying it to damn much to write my thoughts down.. project86 recommended it to me & I couldn't be happier.. he should have a review of it coming sometime.
