thanks everyone for your input. I know its not going to be an ipod, and nothing to run around with. Aside from looking for a mp3 player / mobile hdd, I am also in the siuation having to buy a new notebook computer. While I have desktop systems at hme and at work, I think the new iBooks would fit my bill very nicely. The 12" is immensely portable, an "always with you" computer. So the imminent question was, how it will sound, as I most certainly wll playback mp3s and DVD movies on it. Chers, Matthias
