In the market and need directions.....

Good day all.

I'm really interested in this new (to me) headphone amp road,. but b4 I plunge, I think I need to take baby-steps....

Reading this forum and websites alike, I'm not gonna get into 'what would you all suggest' debate, but I would really appreciate your input on safe and reliable sites to purchase from. Some sites that you guys trade with maybe.. Some ideas, or places to stay way from...

I have successfully used ebay using common sense and going for people with good feedback. Amazon and hifi dealers other audiophiles are excellent sources.

Thanks Prog man,

I dont buy much off the web these days, a SACD or blu-ray from Amazon at times is about it..

I found a Qinpu A3 over at Head-Direct; seems like a good starter amp and a safe site.

Advice well taken, thanks....

Buying off makers is the one way I have not bought hifi. I am lucky where I live and the 5 dealers, one very high end appointment only dealer and Bose and B&O shops mean a huge choice.

 

I have bought loads off ebay with only one issue.

 

Beware scammers here and on other forums that offer items for sale. Feedback is vital.

I presume there are distance selling regulations in the US as there are in the UK to cover buying off the internet?

Are you located in the US?  In which case, Headroom or Todd the Vinyl Junkie are totally reliable in terms of price, advice, service, and returns.  Other sites too, I'm sure, which no doubt others will recommend.

Yes, I'm in the US.. I'm on Ebay now looking around.. Seems to be quite a few out of Hong Kong I see. I'll keep on with it guy's.. Thanks for the leads....
