Unique Melody Miracle Review & Impressions Thread - Page 47

Ultimately, you just have to trust the process. I just sent off a set last week for some JH16's...Here's hoping the fit works as I hope!

Has anyone here compared UM Miracles to similarly priced/spec'ed customs from other manufacturers (e.g. Heir, JH, etc.)?

If you've owned other options, can you share your thoughts on the Miracles vs their competitors. Perhaps it's the waiting for mine to come back that's making me restless, but I'm wondering if there are any merits in owning multiple top-end customs.

Yeah, hope some people will provide these precious information.

Hardly able to get any comparisons with other flagships.

project86 reviewed the Miracle long time ago comparing it to JH13. He liked Miracle better.

Thanks

But I think in this thread.

A lot of people come here or have already read Joker's review.

And Joker also admitted that he haven't heard more high-end CIEMs.

So. basically, his review might be biased, even though Miracles is a top CIEM.

Isn't it enough that when comparing Miracle to LCD-2 and HE-6, Miracle is clearly at the level of these? project86 also thought Miracle was on the level of his LCD-2. How another high end CIEM sounds TO YOU, you will only know when or if you actually buy one for yourself.

I agree with you. The Miracle is no doubt a truly top-flight CIEM, but to say that it's still the cream of the crop nowadays is a bit of a fair stretch, especially with much more competition stemming up from other manufacturers than how it used to be.

I've been eyeing the Miracle for a while to complement my ACS T1 Live!, and my guess is that even though both are unquestionably fantastic performers, each will have their own fortes and drawbacks, thus there's no way the Miracle would be the be-all end-all for me, It plays nicely at its own game, but can learn one thing or two from the T1 Live!, and vice versa.

The right question will be whether his sound preference matches yours to some degree ?

He doesn't do reviews for any incentives. Rules out a big chuck of bias that would otherwise be smeared in reviews.

Agree on the bold part. It boils down to the sound preference.

I love my ACS T1 and I have a JH16 on order....It would be interesting to see how the Miracle compares to other top CIEM's.

I am prejudiced, no doubt.......Having just logged in 3 days ago 6 hours of Miracle listening, I cannot imagine (don't know) any IEM, custom or otherwise sounding as: clear, airy, detailed, with as wide of range of sound bass to treble, less fatiguing and more fun than it.

When it comes to gears, I want, I want, with the only exception being the CIEM arena. I feel I hit a grand slam and got it right the first time.

Getting back on a plane later today and I am eagerly awaiting the time I can put them in and listen again.

Looking forward to your review among them!

That's the great part of owning one CIEM, you won't know other sounds other than your own. As cliched as it is, ignorance is bliss. I will be following that strategy with my CIEMS. Although it is undeniable that the Miracles are one of the top CIEMS money can buy.

How does ACS T1 sound?
