When I ordered mine about a year ago I asked about a universal and was told by AU that I could have but it was not recommended.

I think I'm going to just get the customs and hope for a better fit. My first set fit really well, but I never could get used to them. A lot of people say that "they just disappear into my ears", but I never had that experience. Perhaps by having Miracles as opposed to 1964 Quads, it will be easier for me to forget that they're in there - the Quads never really knocked my socks off sound-wise.

it may appear to have some slight pressure on the canals, mine still happens so after many years, but still I think it is for a clean isolation, and can say that the pressure can be ignored after some time, no annoyances

There's a special here on UM Miracles by an authorized dealer - $750 including impressions. I'm going today, just have to decide on colors.

i have a design waiting to hand in when i have the money, combination of full clear, and one side with smoke plate for right indicator, i foresee a very cool "invisible" CIEM in my imagination, clear has always been awesome as hell in CIEM trends, or maybe put 2 pcs of carbon fibre in it, better looks

On the contrary, the 3dd is the only that was officially sold as a universal from the start. The fit was crappy IMO though.

as expected from a uni fit of an IEM intended to be a CIEM

Miracles have been ordered - $750 including impressions and shipping. Can't get much better than that.

Went with a fairly simple color combo.

nice colors and idea man!! now my advice to you is to get a nice after market cable, for me using the stock cable is kind of crime :< go for copper/silver depend of what you want, make sure to read and ask a lot :P

assuming that you are happy with the dac & amp and the wait time for the ciem i really think you should order a Toxic Cable , trust me they take UM Miracle on another level, i am on my 2nd UM Miracle pair and using it with the stock cable will make me not happy at all!!

Thanks for the advice, but I will never spend that much money on a cable. At most, I'll consider a basic offering from BTG Audio or Headphone Lounge, and that would only be for better ergonomics.

Cables really do lift the sound IMO.

I did when I had my last set of customs. What I was told (I didn't try this at the time) is to gently pull on your earlobe toward the back of your head (horizontally, not vertically) to relieve the pressure. This should temporarily break the seal and decrease that sensation. I think what happens with a good seal is a sort of vacuum effect which puts a bit of air pressure on the ear drums. You may want to wear them more regularly, too. It does take your ears awhile to adjust to them. If it's a good fit, regular use will increase comfort and they won't feel so strange after awhile.
