For brighter and more "fun" sound I would recommend to buy Merlins, because IMO Miracles just not that kind of IEM's...
For me stock cable sounds awfully bad confused_face.gif
It sounds decent running off of clip+

Stephen Go told me the Treble extend and sparkle more on the Miracle, the Merlins is bassy, i am a Treble head, i think he know that and pointed me to go with Miracle.

LOL, I have totally different opinion, Miracles are dark on mids and highs, Merlins are bright on mids and highs, bass is just different on two CIEM's models

still not late so i think i can change the order ;/  so you think Treble wise the Merlins is closer to JH13pro right? and the miracle is far from both. or?

I don't know about JH, I didn't listened them... I can compare to SR-009 though: Merlins are brighter on mids and highs than SR-009; Miracles are darker on mids and highs than SR-009... also can compare to TH-600: Merlins are brighter on mids and highs than TH-600, exept peak in sibilant zone on TH-600; Miracles are close in terms of bright/dark on mids and highs to TH-600, exept Miracles don't have peak in sibilant zone which TH-600 have...

just swapped to Merlin ^^ thanks for the info :P so should i get them with Silver cable? or this will make it kind of fatiguing? since they are already brighter than TH600.

IMO silver-gold cable is the best choice for Merlins (TWag2 Gold in my case)... Gold make highs and vocal a little smoother and "warmer", compared to pure silver, which can be too sharp and "cold" sometimes with such an airy and bright headphones like Merlins...

But bear in mind that sound of Merlins is not ideal, the main issue IMO is a small amount of low middle frequencies, which make them sound very airy but at the same time musical images become a bit transparent (a bit like "ghost" sound)...

"I truly suggest you keep the Miracle though. Both me and Sam (head engineer) believe that the Miracle has brighter trebles. Also, the level of details in the Miracle is greater than the Merlin, which is something you like as well.

seems like i will go miracle + silver OCC cable then buy Merlin later and switch between both :P or JH13pro later

Miracles are definitely NOT dark and have really nice trebble. But if you really are a trebble head the NT6 is also a possibility.

Good suggestion, Mimou. As a treblehead, I'd go with the NT-6 for a flatter sound or the NT-6 Pro for more enhanced bass & treble.

Yep and also 1plus2 and Kaede are quite bright. Miracles are quite balanced but with nice trebble extension.

the custom art harmony, the flagship will be bright and with nice treble extension :3 silicon too! i might go for that or wait the reviews on it. but it will be out in January :/ i assume by February's end we will be seeing some reviews, on the other hand NT Pro 6 got the best treble so far so i will wait a little :P

for now Miracle + good OCC silver cable to make the Treble Crispier and Sparkly even more :P

Miracle is smoother in midrange. I find Merlin's midrange less refined comparatively.

I wonder what plus sound audio uses in their promo cable since the last time, I like it but I hate that it doesn't have an ear guide
