Unique Melody Miracle Review & Impressions Thread - Page 157

the proof that you will need is the fact that I am one of their promo client that is eligible for the cable that is supposed to come with my Miracle, but then it didnt came even after all the huhaa that happened! After 1 year or more, despite frequent contacting UM Global for info and a lot more email going out, NONE WAS REPLIED SINCE EVER!! So the Miracle is very good product, so what? Without a good back end customer service support, it doesnt mean anything to the brand. It's like buying a car and no after sales service or spare parts, what will you feel? happy with the car you bought and will recommend people to buy that car? give it a thought, until today, UM has not replied anything to me, including my request on a new product 3DD.

I even asked the rep from another country to help me to direct my question to them, and yet still no reply. Pure awesomeness~

Still no doubt that Miracle is one hell of a product, BUT that ignorant customer service is something to be aware of, and THAT is my point!

From my experience UM labs are very responsive and helps me out a lot, but UM Aus do not answer my emails.

Firing them is a bit extreme...

Yeah. I suppose pulling out their nails and have red ants eat them alive from the inside would be sufficient.

Yeah tell me about it... Seeing the before and after photos of your operation was sure painful. I needed some major therapy after that ;).

I don't usually post. I'm more of an observer on this forum, considering most of the time that others are saying enough intelligent things for me not to intervene. But I felt that I had to chime in. Regarding UM customer service. I've bought from custom-iem.com, and dealt with Stephen Guo. Despite the endless wait, this latter was always very responsive and always nice. I encountered no problem at all. I just wanted to balance what had been said earlier and vouch for custom-iem.com. If you need to order any UM product, I would recommend them instead of any other.
Cheers.

If we don't consider the money, which portable amp suits the Miracle best? I'm using AK120 now. smily_headphones1.gif

It depends what your taste is... I've tried the miracle with the alo rxmk2, the pico slim, the glacier, the hpp1 and eventually, the rsa 71b that I still have. Do you want to emphasize the bass, a warmer sound, a good Prat, more upfront highs...? Could you be more specific?

I really enjoyed the extra bass of the Matrix portable amp.

Thank you for the info! I prefer balance sound, nice soundstage, a warm sound but not too warm. And I prefer good bass but not bass heavy smily_headphones1.gif

Then I think the glacier would fit the bill. It has an energetic sound signature, broad soundstage and with a bit of warmth. The glacier has also a built in dac — not compatible with idevices.
The miracle paired with the sr 71b in balanced mode gave the most pleasing sound — to my ears at least. But you'd have to buy a dedicated cable, which would be an extra expenditure.
